Much like our exterior wood cleaning restoration process, preparing your concrete surface begins with a complete pressure washing of the concrete surface. After applying our sealant, it produces an internal hydrostatic water pressure barrier, while multiplying the strength and load bearing capacity. Our sealant resists chipping and pitting along with cracking from ground freeze and heaving. It also removes dampness, molding and seepage problems in basements. When fully hardened, our sealant wicks away moisture and is resistant to acid based products.

Decknology uses a dissolved mineral sealant in the form of a liquid glass aerogel. Once applied, our fully bonded agent makes wood stronger and denser, making soft woods (like cedar and pine) perform more like hard woods. This process pushes all the moisture inside the wood-grain to the surface making it evaporate, allowing the product to cure and crystalize into an internal glass matrix throughout the wood. When fully hardened, the final bond between the wood is non-solvent and permanent. It even qualifies as a fire retardant making your wood surface much safer than it was before.
